Liam Edward Hill

Our third boy has arrived and we are so happy he is here! Can you believe we have 3 boys now? Holy Cow! I feel that things are going to get crazier and crazier around here.

Below are a few quick pictures of the little guy...relatively speaking (he was a big baby). Born April 25th at 6:34 pm. Weighing 8 pounds 15 ounces.

Welcome Liam Edward Hill, we already love you lots and lots. More of the baby story and pictures coming soon.

What Kind of Mom Are You?

Here are two conversations I overheard between Kallen and Tyson a few weeks ago. Sadly, it tells you what kind of a Mom I am.

Tyson: "So how was your day today?"

Kallen: "Good."

Tyson: "How was Mommy and Weston's day?"

Kallen: "Umm...good, but Mom freaked out a lot."

*I lost my patience and told the boys that day that I was going to freak out if they didn't start behaving. Good to know that Kallen was listening.*

Next conversation

Tyson walks into the boys room to find Weston climbing up on the dresser and pulling things off of the shelves.

Tyson: "Weston you need to get off the dresser right now."

Weston: "I in trouble."

Tyson: "No, if you get down now, you won't be in trouble."

Kallen: "Daddy, you need to get mad at Wessie."

Tyson: "No I don't, he got down."

Kallen: "Daddy yes you do, Mommy always gets mad."

I'm definitely the Disciplinarian in the family. Hmmm, maybe I need to practice a little more patience.

Cute Conversation About Work

I was sitting in our Family room one evening, when I overheard this conversation between Tyson and Kallen in the other room. I thought it was cute.

*Oh, and just so you know, Kallen was dressed up in a suit and tie at the time, because he loves pretending he is going to work, just like his Daddy.*

Tyson: "Do you know what Daddy does for work?"

Kallen: "You put bad guys in jail."

Tyson: "Right, do you know what jail is?"

Kallen gives no response

Tyson: "Jail is like a really bad time-out for bad guys. It isn't a happy place."

Kallen: "Oh, a time out. That is what you do. Put bad guys in really long time outs."

Tyson: "So what do you want to do when you grow up?"

Kallen: "I want to play."

Tyson: "Well what are you going to do for work?"

Kallen: "Umm....I'll make money."

St Patricks Day

It was a lot of fun this year to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, because Kallen got into it so much more. Isn't it always fun to celebrate the holidays when your kids are excited for them?

Kallen of course wore green for school, which made him happy, because green is his favorite color. He also came home with a shamrock on his cheek and cute shamrock crafts. Even Weston got into the green action, wearing a Lucky and Charming shirt.

For dinner, I tried to make a fun green meal. Tyson provided the corned beef, which a coworker at work made for him. I provided the green potatoes, beans, and green oreos for dessert. Kallen was also super happy because while he was at school, we were visited by some Leprechauns who left some of their magic behind. If Daddy said the magic words, Kallen's milk would turn green while it was being poured into his cup. He was super excited and kept asking for magic milk for days afterwards. Sadly, I had to tell him that magic green milk only happens on St. Patrick's Day. He wasn't too happy about that, but his attitude changed pretty quickly after receiving chocolate milk as a substitute.
